What do you need to know from me before quoting for my mailing bags? We need to know the following information to get you our most accurate prices:

  • Style of the bag
  • Size of the bag
  • Materia choice and thickness
  • Handle choice
  • The thickness of the bag
  • Number of colours printed on the bag
  • Are you looking to create printed mailing bags, single or double side print?
  • How many units are you looking for?
This varies based on what products you order. Paper mailing bags start from as little as 250 units. Our plastic mailing bags start from as little as 1000 units.

By default, our plastic mailing bags need to be polythene. This makes them durable and waterproof. However, Elliott Packaging do offer a number of environmentally friendly plastic mailing bags with optional printing;

Degradable – We offer mailing bags which are fully degradable.

Low Carbon Footprint – We can provide mailing bags with a low carbon footprint which are made from plant-based products. These bags are fully recyclable and are renewable.

Our lead times do vary depending on how busy we are, but we tend deliver printed mailing bags of lead times of 3-4 weeks. Subject to stock and artwork approval, we will aim to deliver all our eco friendly packaging products as quickly as possible.
Thinking of adding printing to your plastic mailing bags or paper mailing bags? Elliott Packaging use printing plates to print on your bags.

We outsource our printing plates from trusted printing plate makers. You will need to purchase your printing plates with your first order. If your artwork is the same on future orders, you will not need to purchase these again and will speed up the process of returning printed mailing bags orders.

Unfortunately, not.

The manufacturing process of a printed mailing bags does not allow us to set up the machines to print just one bag. We can however send samples of our recent work. We can offer visual mock-ups online. As standard procedure, our plate makers send PDF printing proofs which show, colours sizes and positioning. These proofs need to be signed off before we proceed to make any mailing bags products

Elliott Packaging can also offer a ‘cromalin’ a cromalin is a print off of your PDF proof on film which will give you a very good vision of the finished product.

Thinking of changing your printing artwork? This is a common question when purchasing mailing bags because retailers and businesses will usually run a promotional offer or change branding.

If you want to change your artwork you will need new printing plates. If it’s a small change to the design such as an address, we may be able to change this using a ‘slug insert’.

A popular mailing bags faqs question! Pantone is a standardized colour matching system which uses a numbering system to identify colour shades. When you create your artwork, you will need to choose your pantone colours. Pantone colours can be found on the Pantone Website.

A process print is a print technique which uses 4 standard colours (CMYK) to create a full spectrum of colours. CMYK stands for cyan magenta yellow and black.

A spot colour is any colour which is generated using one ink with no shades.
