Elliott Packaging have recently supplied a large quantity of co-extruded mailing bags which will be used to safely secure and send out covid testing kits. In total, we supplied 4 million mailing bags within a 4 week period which we hope will be a critical element in helping to keep the virus under control.

The specification of these co-extruded mailing bags included implementing a permanent adhesive strip, which means once sealed, the covid testing kits were not exposed when in transition of delivering the kits through the post. Using bespoke black print, these mailing bags were manufactured in a grey colour in 50 micron in thickness to add extra protection to the mailing bags.

Both strong and durable, these co-extruded mailing bags are also a part of our recyclable mailing bag range.

Along with supplying co-extruded mailing bags to help safely send covid testing kits through the post, Elliott Packaging have also supplied clear polyethylene bags to help.

With wearing face masks in both shops and supermarkets still mandatory, there has also been a high demand in clear polyethylene bags. Also known as clear grip seal bags, and part of our plastic mailing bags range, these particular types of bags are perfect to seal ppe equipment including masks. Using clear material, these plastic mailing bags allow you to physically see that any ppe equipment hasn’t been compromised once sealed.
